RSPCA Assured
Operating totally independently from the food and farming industry and recognised by the government as a higher welfare scheme, on RSPCA Assured farms animals must be given enough space to move around, a good diet, comfortable bedding and things to do so they can exhibit their natural behaviours.
RSPCA’s welfare standards cover the whole of an animal’s life, from their health and diet to environment and care.

MSC
Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) works with scientists, fisheries, seafood producers and brands to develop standards and promote sustainable fishing globally.
The MSC is the only wild-capture fisheries certification and ecolabelling program that meets best practice requirements set by both the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (UNFAO) and ISEAL, the global membership association for sustainability standards.
Red Tractor
The UK’s largest food standards scheme, and the only one to cover food production from animal welfare, food safety, traceability and environmental protection from farm to pack, its standards are recognised as world leading.
As a whole-chain scheme, starting at farm, Red Tractor have standards for all steps in the food production chain including transport, livestock markets, food processing and packing.

Soil Association
The UK’s largest organic certification body, with over 50 years’ experience, the Soil Association has higher organic standards than required by the EU Organic Regulation in key areas: delivering the highest levels of animal welfare, protecting human and animal health, safeguarding the environment and protecting the interests of organic consumers.
No system of farming has higher levels of animal welfare than farms working to Soil Association organic standards.

ASC
Certifying environmentally and socially responsible seafood, Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) standards address the key environmental impacts of farming, set requirements for workers’ rights and protect communities surrounding certified farms.
Based on best practices and sound science, the standards are measurable, metric- and performance-based, applying globally to farming systems covering a range of locations, types and scales of operations.
