Justin McCarthy
Executive Chair
Justin, who joined Townview as Executive Chair in Oct 2023, brings over two decades of experience in the Agri and beef sector, including roles with ABP and Teagasc. He served as Chief Livestock Editor at The Irish Farmers Journal from Aug 2005 to Mar 2013 and later as Editor from Mar 2013 to Mar 2023. Additionally, he most recently held the position of CEO at The Agricultural Trust, the parent company of The Irish Farmer’s Journal, from Jan 2014 to Mar 2023, overseeing various Agri and Irish Lifestyle publications.
Gerard Murphy
Financial Director
Gerard is a Chartered Accountant and has been with Roebuck (formerly Norish plc) since the acquisition of Townview Foods Ltd in October 2012, where he remains the Financial Controller. He was appointed Roebuck Food Group plc Company Secretary in April 2018. He holds a BSc in accounting from Queens University Belfast and a postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Accounts from the University of Ulster. Before joining Roebuck, Gerard worked as an Assistant Manager in the PWC audit and advisory unit.
